Count your blessings

Day after day, the frogs would sit around squabbling over who had the best lily pad. Then, one of the frogs suggested that they appoint a leader, and the other frogs agreed that this was a good idea. So they asked Jupiter, God of the Sky, to send them one. Jupiter sent a log. But the log proved too lazy for the frogs. So the frogs repeated their request. This time, Jupiter sent an eel. But the eel was too nice. The frogs asked again. This time Jupiter sent a heron, which ate all the frogs one by one. “Sometimes” said the heron later, to a friend, “you should just be happy with what you have.”
