Sarah - Necklace

This spectacular necklace is made out of golden and brown beads with fabulous black crystals adding a touch of glamour!

There are two different types of necklaces available: lace and cleo.

Lace version is a beading technique that creates a delicate and intricate piece, reminiscent of lace. This is then embelished with crystals.

Cleo version refers to Cleopatra, that has an egyption feel, employing the same beading technique but with long threads of golden beads and a black crystal on the end of each.

Both necklaces and the bracelet have a golden chain and clasp, adjustable length.

This piece is more classic in style, character and colour, yet impressive and dramatic.

Sarah, The Story:

Riddle

I am millions of years old, yet I am just 37 – add one to me and you have the Earth; take one from me and you have nobility. I am common; indeed I rank 23rd among my five-score fellow inhabitants of your crust. Yet I am special, lending a blush to your celebrations, and giving the finest of temperaments to your clocks. I am hard; yet I melt at your touch. I first came to your notice in 1861, discovered by he who gives his name to the burner - yet I did not bring prizes to you until 2001. Can you name me?

Rubidium – atomic No. 37
Atomic No. 38 is strontium – an Earth metal
Atomic No. 36 is Krypton – a noble gas
Rubidium is quite common – 23rd most abundant element in the earth’s crust
Rubidium is the chemical that gives fireworks their red colour
