Lenny was well known for his moon obsession. Since he was maybe five, he would crawl down his window and up to the town square to have a good look. He would gaze for hours without moving. Some people tried to distract him, but it was pointless. As he grew older some could swear he was going to be a famous astronomer. But, no, Lenny didn’t even finish his secondary school, as he was too sleepy during the day to concentrate and often fell asleep on his desk. Most people believed that he was an expert on the subject and asked him questions about the stars and planets. He never answered so people stopped asking. The years passed and Lenny became sort of a town’s mute erudite with determination as his only merit. When he was in his late fifties, one of the oldest people in town finally dared to ask: “Boy, why do you keep on watching the moon every night? Don’t you get tired of it?” And he replied: “I’m waiting for the bunny to move.”
